About Sanford Rescreening

A screen company for Sanford specifically, and honest about what it has not yet proved.

Sanford Rescreening is a screen enclosure rescreening business serving Sanford, Florida and the surrounding Seminole County cities. It does mesh, frames and doors on pool cages, lanais, porches and screen rooms — and nothing else. No pavers, no concrete, no sunroom conversions.

Why the focus is this narrow

Look at what currently ranks for Sanford screen work. One competitor has an exact-match domain and a two-item navigation. Another runs a per-city template across the whole Orlando metro whose entire Sanford content is a mention of Lake Monroe and a passing line about 1970s ranch homes. The most locally rooted operator on the list mixes screens with concrete and pavers. Not one of them names a single Sanford subdivision.

That is the gap this business is built into. The work is the same work anyone competent does; the difference is knowing that a zero-lot-line house in Mayfair Meadows has an access problem, that Sunland Estates fasteners date to the 1960s, that Preserve at Lake Monroe faces the midge belt head-on, and that a house in the Sanford Residential Historic District may need a Certificate of Appropriateness before a porch is repaired.

What we will not do

  • Invent numbers. Every price on this site is labelled as a statewide market estimate from published sources, because no Sanford contractor publishes local pricing and we will not pretend to a local average that does not exist.
  • Show reviews we do not have. This is a new business with zero reviews. The testimonials section on the home page is deliberately empty and will stay that way until real customers have written something verifiable.
  • Claim a hurricane rating we do not have. Seminole County’s adopted ultimate design wind speed is 139 mph for Risk Category II. The county is not in a wind-borne debris region and is not in the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone. Anyone telling you otherwise about Seminole County is wrong.
  • Guess at permits. Whether a mesh-only rescreen requires a permit in Sanford is not settled on the public record, and the permit guide says so plainly instead of picking whichever answer is convenient.

Structural aluminum enclosure work in Florida requires a state DBPR contractor licence. Until a licence number appears in the footer of this site, treat this page as describing the business’s intended scope rather than as a claim of current credentials.

Where the facts on this site come from

The Sanford-specific claims here trace to primary and named sources: the City of Sanford Building Division and Historic Preservation pages, the Seminole County Building Division, the county’s published Ultimate Design Wind Speed Designations figure, local news reporting on the 2019 Lake Monroe midge treatment and the 2022 Hurricane Ian flooding, census data for the population figures, and subdivision records for build years and lot counts. Where two sources disagree — the Lake Forest lot count, for instance — no number is quoted at all.

Which permit desk, which mesh, whether a repair beats a rescreen. Those answers are free and they are the same whether or not you hire us.
